FEES For One to One lessons
• Fees for our one to one lessons are charged on a 'per block' basis which is currently set as monthly and must be paid prior to the first lesson or at least within 7 days of the invoice. Each lesson costs £17.50 therefore a block will cost £70 based on a 4-week block.
• Trial lessons are available at £17.50 per lesson.
• The music school runs for 48 weeks of the year and will continue through most school holidays.
• Fees are to be paid by digital banking. Bank account details available on request and are detailed on each invoice. Please do not send the payment to Eilidh Grants account, use the Grants School of Music & Performance only.
• Please include your invoice number or the name of the student when making payment for your lessons.
• We offer a 5% discount on your fees for families and any additional instruments being learned through our school. This discount also applies where a student has been scheduled for more than one lesson per week. If you are entitled to the discount, your invoice will reflect it.
CANCELLATION AND MISSED LESSONS
• We require more than 48 hours’ notice for the cancellation of a lesson. Lessons will be charged at the full price if cancelled without sufficient time (within 48 hours).
• If you cancel a lesson after the start of the month you will still be charged for the lesson as the invoices have already been sent out. Payment for the lesson cancelled before 48 hours will be carried forward to the next month.
• Please cancel your lesson through the App and not through your tutor or by email. At times the tutor will forget to cancel the lesson on your behalf or may pick up the cancellation too late and the lesson could still be charged for. By using the App to cancel a lesson it will automatically send an email to your tutor, update the schedule and also adjust the invoices in one lovely click of a button.
• Your booking for music lessons is yours until you let us know in writing that you no longer require lessons.
• We require 2 weeks’ notice if you intend to withdraw from lessons. No refund will be given if you choose to leave during a block. Notification of cancellation must be made by emailing grantsmusicschool@gmail.com and not via the tutor.
LESSONS
• In the event that your tutor is unable to attend the lessons, another tutor will be assigned to cover the lessons. Each student/parent/guardian will be contacted to inform them of the change at the earliest opportunity.
• Each tutor is PVG checked.
• If we are not able to provide a tutor to cover the lessons you will be advised of the cancellation that day and a credit will be applied to your account for the missed lesson.
